Billy’s maternal great-great-great-great-grandmother was Eleanor Parke Custis Lewis, the adopted daughter of U.S. President George Washington, who was the biological granddaughter of his wife Martha Dandridge Washington.
Billy’s paternal grandfather was William Oliver Campbell II (the son of Wilson Alexander Campbell and Alice Clause). William was born in Pennsylvania. Wilson was the son of The Rev. William Oliver Campbell and Mary Louisa Shaw. Alice was the daughter of William Lewis Clause and Elizabeth Ann Fish.
