Everyone’s favourite forgetful fish is back! It’s been 12 years since Disney Pixar’s ‘Finding Nemo’ was released and now the much anticipated sequel is almost here. The next movie in the franchise will be called ‘Finding Dory’ and will be released in theaters in June 2016. In ‘Finding Dory’ the friendly, but forgetful, blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the true meaning of family along the way.

It’s been a few years since the sequel was announced by Ellen Degeneres, who is the voice of Dory in the movies. Since then the sequel has been greatly anticipated by all ‘Finding Nemo’ and Disney fans around the world. At first it was expected to be released in November this year, but has since been rescheduled and is now being released in June next year. Since the first movie is over 12 years old the audience for ‘Finding Dory’ will without a doubt not only consist of children, who are Disney Pixar’s target audience, but also older fans who have been waiting for the sequel.
